Geedon Gallery: Spring Exhibition

Peter Brown, Sue Campion, Judith Gardner, Julian Halsby, Miranda Halsby, Charles Hardaker, Ann Heat, James Horton, Pamela Kay, Peter Kelly, Barbara Richardson and David Sawyer from the RBA, together with other artists will be showing at the Spring 2015 exhibition at Geedon Gallery in Essex.

Dates are from the 28th of March to the 12th of April 2015 and the exhibition is open from 11am to 5:30pm daily, and thereafter by appointment until the 17th of May.

Geedon Gallery: Autumn Exhibition 2015

Members of the Royal Society of British Artists will be showing at the Autumn 2015 exhibition at Geedon Gallery in Essex.

Dates are from the 10th of October to the 25th of October 2015 and the exhibition is open from 11am to 5:30pm daily, and thereafter by appointment until the 15th of December.

Guy Portelli

Guy has a solo exhibition, “African Sketch Book”, at The Gallery Print Centre in Covent Garden. The exhibition coincides with Guy’s helix sculpture for Cancer Research currently showing outside the Royal Albert Hall in Londoon.

The exhibition runs from the 12th to the 28th of August.

“RBA Rising Stars” Exhibition at the Lloyd’s Register

The RBA are putting on a show at Lloyd’s Register Gallery [Gallery@LR] for the semi-finalists of the Rome Scholarship Award together with the RBA Scholars from NADFAS and ASTOR colleges. This show is called “RBA RISING STARS” and the standard of work by these young artists is truly impressive and well worth a look as they are clearly stars of the future. The details are below…

  • The venue is Gallery@LR in the Lloyd’s Register building at 71 Fenchurch Street, London EC3M 4BS
  • The Private View will be on Tuesday 3rd February from 6.00 – 8.00 pm – by invitation only
  • The exhibition is free to the public and will run from the 4th February – 6th March, from 10.00 am – 4.00 pm Mondays to Fridays

It is with regret that I must inform you of the sad news that Juliette Palmer died on Sunday the 2nd of August following a short illness.

Juliette enjoyed being a member of the RBA and always participated in organised events. She will be sadly missed.

RBA Select 2015 at Gallery@LR

RBA members will be exhibiting at Gallery@LR located in the Lloyd’s Register building in London during October. The gallery is located in the reception atrium at 71 Fenchurch Street, London EC3M 4BS.

Exhibition dates are from Monday the 5th of October to Friday the 30th of October. Opening times being Monday to Friday 10am to 4 pm. The gallery is closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Friends of the RBA

The president, officers and council of the RBA are pleased to announce a new initiative called “Friends of the RBA”.

Registered Friends will receive, via email, the e-newsletter two or three times a year as well as articles about interesting books, exhibition reviews, invitations to our annual exhibition and to member exhibitions in commercial galleries.

Being a Friend of the RBA costs nothing so why not Register now and start to enjoy being involved with one of the oldest and best known art societies in the country.
